We'd recommend this place to visitors in the area. The staff were friendly, and the menu had some distinct options. The fish and chips were excellent, though the Alfredo wasn't as enjoyable for us. The sauce was too thick, even though it seemed to be a specialty.

This has been one of our regular stops in Marloth for ten years, and we used to come two or three times a year. This visit was such a letdown that I don't see us returning. Six of us ordered dinner, and only one person enjoyed their meal. We also waited a little over an hour and a half, and the prices are high for what we got. At those prices, the food should match. I'm not sure whether the chef or management changed, but it definitely isn't the same place anymore. Very disappointed, and they won't be seeing me as a customer again.

The lodge was quiet, clean, and accommodating, and the service was extremely nice. We stopped for lunch with a group of nine, and the food was exceptionally tasty. They also managed my family's dietary needs and restrictions, which isn't easy at all.

The new owners of the pub and grill are doing a great job. We enjoyed the food there, and we did enjoy our stay too, though the place is only okay as it stands. The wild walks around you are lovely to experience, and the three bathrooms were nice, including an outside shower. Six people can sleep there easily. We spent most of the day in the Kruger Park. There’s a lot of potential here with the right management, and it could be an awesome place for the price. But the room didn't seem properly cleaned after the previous guests: it was full of spider webs, thatch grass was coming out everywhere, and I found someone else's sunglasses. There was no hand soap either, so I'd suggest bringing your own, along with extra toilet paper.
