I won't book there again. The place was dusty as soon as we walked in, and the room had a dirty fridge, non-working dstv, and a huge bug in the shower. The cold water tap at the basin didn't work, so I had to brush my teeth with hot water. There were no small bathroom supplies either. Compared with other guest houses I've booked, this one just isn't worth the price.

The guests were treated as if their age meant they couldn't be trusted to know right from wrong. They were given a curfew and, at 22:30 pm, came back to a locked house with the lights off. They were teenagers, but they paid the same as anyone else, and the service should meet the same standard. We pay for service, not stature or age. I booked a room and paid an extra R400 for the third person. Breakfast was included, but the guesthouse didn't serve it or even start preparing it. Meanwhile, the caretaker kept pressing for the outstanding extra R400 and seemed to have "forgotten" to provide service. I'm very disappointed with the experience at this guesthouse.

After a long trip to get there, we were told on arrival that our room had been given away, even though we'd booked online. It felt as if the lady had judged whether to give us a room only once we arrived. I found the whole thing truly unprofessional and was very disappointed by the people we dealt with. Their morals are unacceptable. I would never recommend this venue or consider staying there again.

I booked the guest house for 27 October 2018. When we arrived, a woman rushed out and said they’d given our room away, claiming she had tried calling and texting me. When I asked to see proof, she said she’d deleted it. We were dropped at the last minute and had to travel back home the same day. I’ll never go there. If they can lie about this, who knows what else they might do.
