The pool deck with the bar beside it is amazing, especially on a hot sunny day. We had a lovely big room with aircon and secure parking, and everything was neat and clean. The staff were super friendly. We’ll definitely see you again.

The place is beautiful, but there’s a lot that needs work. The room had no fridge or microwave, and the vintage furniture felt outdated. The check-in process has loopholes, since someone took my colleague’s change. Breakfast was supposed to start promptly at 07h00, but we waited 10 minutes. The glasses and cups at breakfast were tiny, and I’m not happy at all.

After a 9-hour drive, Colesberg Lodge felt like an oasis. The pool was lovely and clean, with comfortable shaded seating nearby, and the reception was neat and cool as soon as we stepped inside. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and efficient. We chose the braai pack from the menu, which was delicious, and pudding was included in the price. We’ll stay at Colesberg Lodge again when we’re back on the road for another adventure. Highly recommend it.

The service was good, but the rooms get far too hot and the AC doesn’t work properly. The kettle plug couldn’t reach the wall socket, and I got stuck in the bathroom. My partner had to push the door open from the room to get me out.

The rooms are cozy and everything worked. It was easy to check in and out, the staff were friendly, and parking felt safe. There’s a bar, restaurant, and pool, and the place is pet friendly.
