The staff were polite and professional, and the locals were very friendly. They suggested places for local food, though sadly we were leaving that day. They also said that staying locally supports their community and that they're working to make the area better for tourists. We chose the B&B for its closeness to the National Park entrance and our self-drive safari. It was about a 2.5-hour drive from Johannesburg. Some roads and areas along the way weren't very nice, but we drove in daylight and didn't feel unsafe. The area around the B&B looked new and had several other B&Bs. There's a remote-controlled electric gate and parking. Our room was bright, clean, and a good size. The main bed was very comfortable. There was a small fridge, microwave, kettle, air con, and hot water, and the bathroom was new and clean. We got clean towels but no toiletries. The room was cleaned daily during our two-night stay. Breakfast was tasty and good, I think it was 130 R. We also got the car washed at a small nearby hand-wash place for 100R. We'd recommend it to anyone visiting the Park or SunCity.

We came across this accommodation by chance, and my daughter and I were really pleased with the room, service, atmosphere, and cleanliness. Thanks for a lovely stay, Legae la Tshepo. We hope to return soon.

The rooms were large and clean, and the beds were comfortable. There was safe parking, and it's just a 10-minute drive from the pilanesberg game reserve gate. A good place to relax and recharge before another day in the reserve.

Our weekend at Legae la Tshepo, from 9-11 Dec 2022, was disappointing from arrival to departure. There were four couples in our group, and we were moved to a different house from the one shown in the photos. During load shedding, there was no backup power, so we had to use our cellphones for light. The carpets were dirty, and one room smelled of nicotine. In another room the shower water came out very slowly, and the door took huge force to open. That couple ended up washing at the basin. There wasn't much variety in the food, and there wasn't enough for seconds. The woman assigned to help us didn't seem concerned about our issues, though the housekeeping lady was kind and helpful. The amount we paid for each room didn't match its standard.

The place was a disaster. We were moved from one room to another while we were away, and the room we ended up in had no aircon. It was so hot that we slept with all the doors and windows open, and mosquitoes bit us all night. The sheets had blood stains, the toilet needed at least eight flushes, and there was no soap or shower gel in the bathroom. An old bar fridge made noise all night too. The worst experience I've had in all my years staying at hotels.
