The receptionist who checked us in and out was the one good part of our stay. She was really friendly and accommodating, and did the best she could with what she had to work with. We only booked because every decent place was full and there was nowhere else. We won't return. It was a painful lesson in planning ahead. For accommodation that may be 3-star, I knew to manage my expectations, but basics should still be there. The TV looked like it was bought in the 1990s and had no remote. The towel rack, bathroom door slider, and shower door were broken. Using the shower soaked the bathroom floor, and both the air conditioner and ceiling fan were out of order. There was only a kettle, no coffee or tea station. We were two people, but got just one towel and one bath mat, and no soap at all. The shower floor was so uneven it felt dangerous once wet, with a risk of slipping and falling. The most convenient parking for our room was across the property, reached by a very narrow passage. We had to fold the car's side mirrors in and have someone guide us through the tightest part. The marks on the wall showed that plenty of drivers hadn't done one or both. I made it through once to unload our things, barely. With more trips needed, I didn't want to risk damage and call my insurance, so I parked elsewhere and carried our belongings to the car when we checked out. Even the card machine was on its last legs. The receptionist had to walk all over the property to find signal for transactions. This guesthouse is a clear example of cutting corners and neglect.

The place was average, and the fridge didn't work. Some repairs are needed urgently: the wardrobe beside the Traditional room had a door hanging off its hinges, and it nearly hurt my sister.

The rain flooded the hallway and reached the rooms while I was there. They cleaned the room, but took a pillow that had been wet on the floor and put it on the dry, clean bed. When I complained, they were rude at first, though they eventually cleaned the bed and changed the sheets. The replacement sheets had small brown stains, and I slept badly. As an owner, you should have given me a fresh, clean sheet to sleep on. I'm not especially fussy about cleanliness, but this wasn't okay. The breakfast was mediocre. The bread wasn't fresh, it seemed to have been defrosted just before we ate, and you could taste how old it was. The door to our charcoal room had a broken lock and took real force to open. By far the worst place I've stayed.

By far the worst place I've ever stayed. The staff are rude and act like they're doing people a favour. If you don't mind sleeping with gogas, you can waste your money and book there.

The accommodation fully met my expectations, and the staff provided exceptional service. It's also close to popular sights and landmarks in the area.
