Alpaca Inn

Feeding the Alpacas was my daughter's highlight, and Sheba and Pettus were wonderful. We had a brilliant three-day stay in a beautiful, quirky setting. There was loads to do nearby, and we'd definitely think about coming back.

The antiques, lovely garden and pool, and the view made for a gorgeous weekend at Alpaca Inn. It had everything we needed, and the alpacas were adorable too.

A charming little place tucked off Montagu's main road, perfect if you need a break from the city or just want a different setting. There are fireplaces in the rooms and a bonfire spot on the grass, with wood supplied for both every morning. You can feed the Alpaca's at 6pm daily. Inside, there's a TV, gas stove and oven, fridge and freezer, plus a pool table, dart board, board games and cards. Petrus and Shiba were accommodating and answered all our questions. The crickets were our one issue, though we could overlook them. I'd happily return.

What a great weekend away ❤️ We loved waking up to the Alpacas, donkeys and friendly locals 🐶 The farm staff were welcoming, and the little farmhouse was clean and quiet. There was everything we needed and more, along with a lovely mountain view. The beds were comfortable, each room had enough aircon, and there were plenty of cozy spots to read, braai, swim or play pool. Or just do nothing. One of the most relaxing places we've been.
