Garden Route Hotel

We had a good, quiet overnight stay in comfortable rooms at a nice hotel. The plastic flowers around reception and other hotel areas weren't great. We had dinner at the restaurant next door at Casino. Thanks to Trezania for the smiles and great service with breakfast and coffee to go.

The rooms were beautiful, clean, and spacious, with big modern bathrooms and showers. What really stood out was every member of staff, from security and reception to the waiters, cleaners, chefs, and breakfast staff. They were always friendly and ready to help. Truly the best holiday hotel ever. Every staff member deserves a double bonus. Thank youuuuu!

The rooms were clean and tidy, the food was nice with a good choice, and everyone on staff was friendly. There's a casino and spa onsite too. Service was pretty slow even when it wasn't busy, and we kept having issues with the bills. Don't expect much from the swimming pool, if you can call it that. Still, I'd recommend the hotel despite those couple of issues.

We were told the family room could fit four people, even after I asked whether the beds were big enough, but that wasn't true. The four of us couldn't manage in one room, and my teenage girls had to go for walks just to get some breathing room. We had to book an extra room for one night. We paid for it for that night only because the hotel was fully booked.
