We ordered the farm breakfast as an extra, and it arrived in a cute picnic basket with a good variety of breakfast treats. It was nicely presented, with some lovely fresh produce. The complimentary bottle of wine was a sweet touch, and the cottages were well equipped. The outdoor space was the real highlight of our 2-night stay at Hakuna Matata. Sitting outside, watching the animals, and using the hot tub was great. Everything was super clean, and the views were beautiful. On our second night we had extra guests, and Lustine and the team kindly rearranged some beds to fit them in. We'd definitely come back.

Watching buffalo from the house was a highlight. We were comfortable throughout, and the fireplace made the evenings feel so atmospheric. There were incredible wildlife sightings, and Hakuna Matata really lived up to its name. We had no worries during our whole stay.

The team’s hospitality made the whole visit such a great experience, and I’m very grateful to them. Hakuna Matata is a quiet place surrounded by animals, with an amazing view of nature when you wake up. We had a wonderful stay, and I’ll definitely recommend it to family and friends. 🤩

We were lucky to find this place, and I hope we can return one day. The apartments sit right on the game farm, and we saw buffalos and impalas right in front of us. Everything was super clean, and Lustine was always there to help. She’s such a warm, welcoming host. We can definitely recommend staying here.

We saw lots of animals right from the yard, and the place was peaceful and relaxing, great for families. Everything was provided, so you only need to bring food. The hot tub uses Riverwater and does take a while to warm up.
