The view was gorgeous, but I’m going to remember that cold pizza for a long time. I was told the room was self catering, yet there wasn’t a microwave. DStv hadn’t been paid for, so the TV was basically just for show. There was no WiFi either, and although I was told there was cleaning staff, I never had the chance to meet her.

The room smelled bad, and for what we paid there was no air conditioning or even a fan. The owner was very unfriendly. Her card reader wasn’t working, so she wanted us to pay extra at the end because she’d have to pay tax if I transferred the money. I told her the transfer would cost me more too, since my bank charges for international payments. She was rude and eventually told us, “leave my house now.” The worst stay of our whole trip. I wouldn’t recommend it.
