Baobab Chalets

The receptionist understood and refunded us for the second night we chose not to stay. We’d booked two nights but left after one because the room was filthy, with cockroaches everywhere and a really foul, pungent smell. There was barely any water, and the bathrooms were dirty and unwelcoming. The whole experience was unpleasant.

The place was clean and I enjoyed staying there. Both receptionists were friendly and welcoming, and the night shift security person and day shift receptionist gave great customer service.

I sometimes stay here for two weeks at a time and feel very comfortable. It’s quiet, with a lovely garden view, good WiFi, and a clean, secure setting. The staff are friendly and try hard to sort out any issues and make guests comfortable. My only small drawback is that some of the TVs in the rooms need replacing. I’d recommend it.

For reasonably priced accommodation, it’s not bad. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of space. The shared area is attractive and peaceful, though road noise was a nuisance because the unit borders the National Road. The plumbing was a bit temperamental too, with the hot water stopping at random.
