At Compass View, it’s easy to cook a meal or have a braai, even with lovely restaurants around. The house is clean, charming, and well equipped, and it suits a family of up to six. The renovation is fascinating, with a clear eye for detail. This place is a true gem. Thank you, we’ll definitely visit again!

The private garden and braai make it easy to stay in, enjoy the quiet, and look up at the night sky. It’s also right in the heart of Nieu Bethesda, with all the attractions within walking distance. The three bedrooms are beautifully decorated, and the three bathrooms are a delight, with their big showers. Such a little gem, and well worth it.

I loved this lovely, peaceful place with a great view. It’s close to the main attractions but not noisy at all. Every bed was really comfortable and warm, and the curtains did a great job of keeping out the light. One night, we even had a horse wandering around outside our window.

Pierre welcomed us, and we felt at home straight away. It’s a delightful, quaint little Karoo house, with a tasteful interior and luxurious bedding. We had a wonderful stay and would love to come back.

This was my second stay at the guesthouse, and I’m never disappointed. Nieu-Bethesda is a place like no other. The rooms and facilities are lovely, the location is convenient, and everyone is helpful and friendly.
