A night on an olive farm, with some of the best oils around. We stayed in converted stables and the view was incredible. It was a little chilly this time of year, but there was plenty of free firewood. Definitely coming back 👌

After a long day riding our bikes, we arrived tired and found that Henno didn't know about our booking, even though I'd spoken with him about it months earlier. He wasn't much help, and the outside photos didn't really match what we saw. Thankfully, we found somewhere else to stay. I have nearly 100 lady bikers to arrange through De Rust, so getting this kind of service was really disappointing.

I've paid, by the way. Being chased for the money and threatened with police charges was unnecessary and not cool. I would have stayed here again and recommended the place to friends and family, but the after-sales service has changed my mind.

The host was friendly and even waited for us. Our room was clean, and everything worked. A great place for an overnight stop. Thank you so much. Rita

A quiet, cool, comfortable place to spend the night, and exceptionally well priced. It's a lovely old Karoo house with a well-equipped kitchen.
