Bisibee Guest House

The cactus landscaping and garden made for a lovely place to relax, and we’d love to visit Bisibee again. It was an amazing stay for the four of us, and Jo Anne, Ruvark and Allen treated us like family. Best place to stay in Oudtshoorn.

We had urgently booked three nights here for a funeral, since I didn’t know whether our family could accommodate us, and I paid the full amount upfront. The next day, my elderly mother’s family offered us a room with two beds, which was much easier logistically for her because she struggles to walk. When I cancelled, Bisibee kept R975, half of what I’d paid, even though less than 24 hours had passed since booking. The rooms weren’t fully booked even after my cancellation, so the guesthouse suffered no loss. What a racket. I’m really disappointed.

My wife absolutely loved our stay here a few years ago. The rooms were clean, neat, spacious, and good value. The owners were polite and friendly, and helped as much as they could, especially since we were visiting from another country. It’s in a nice, quiet neighbourhood where you can go for a peaceful stroll. I’d highly recommend it.

I wish I had pictures, but this is a great place to stay. It’s in a lovely, quiet neighbourhood and not too far from the shops. The hosts are wonderful and helpful, always on the go, true to “Busy Bee.” The room was really nice and clean, and the yard is beautiful, full of trees and flowers.
