The house is really well equipped, with more than you might expect, and all three rooms have their own bathrooms. We were very comfortable. Juan and Lieschen were warm and helpful hosts, and the two women serving breakfast were lovely. With such beautiful surroundings, it's a great spot if you want some peace and time in nature.

We found it roomy, clean and comfortable, and it worked really well for our family. The hosts were lovely. Cyclists planning to ride the Swartberg Pass should consider staying here.

I stumbled across the restored farmhouse Blue Lily Retreat, and what a lucky find. There are plenty of ways to spend your time, from hiking and cycling to wellness, and you can choose B + B or self-catering. Juan has so much to suggest that you'll want to stick around and try it all. Highly recommend.

Juan is keen on biking and can show you the valleys on a mountain bike, or take you up the beautiful Swartbergpas. The B&B has a lovely feel to it, and the hosts are fantastic. Highly recommended.

Leishen and Janu made us feel so special. They're two of the kindest people I've met, and Janu went a long way out of his way to bring back the bag I'd left behind. It's such a beautiful place, and I'll definitely come back again.
