We loved the farm stay, even though my husband and I are definitely city slickers. The peace and quiet were a real treat, and seeing bucks strolling around made for some great photos. Our hosts were attentive and very friendly. Jan checked in to see how we were doing and whether we needed anything. We booked four nights for a quick getaway after doing quite a bit of research. The rooms are spacious, and the main bedroom has a large en-suite bathroom. With Oudtshoorn in top form for heat, having aircon made it possible to sleep well.

The big house made us feel like family, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Jan and Karen went out of their way to make us comfortable, and we felt a lot of love during our relaxing stay. It’s a great spot for visiting the Karoo.

Jan and Karin were fantastic hosts who checked in daily to see how we were doing. We left feeling like family. The spacious house overlooks the farm, with a huge kitchen and dining room. We could relax with a braai while grysbokkies wandered nearby. It’s an ideal base for visiting the Klein Karoo, and the big family home felt comfortable and welcoming.

We loved the character of this old, roomy house and stayed three nights. The owner was welcoming and helpful, and we slept like babies in the quiet. There were plenty of birds and grysbokkies around. Oudtshoorn, with its shops and great restaurants, is still only 12 km away. We’d definitely come back.

The hosts made us feel at home straight away and were incredibly friendly. It’s a peaceful spot close to town, with lots of space even for a bigger family. We enjoyed watching the cute bokkies and other wildlife, and would absolutely stay again.
