The owners have made a neat little oasis in Oudtshoorn, and we had a wonderful stay at Karoo sun. The warmth, service and performance were about as good as they could be. It's probably one of the best places we've stayed in a long time, and we'd choose it again if we need to stay over.

The lemon trees were a highlight. I picked a few fresh lemons for my water and felt like a master chef. The welcome at check-in was warm, the bed was comfy, and the staff went out of their way to meet every request. At first I wondered if the host's friendliness was an act, but then I saw her greet other guests with the same enthusiasm, and realized it was a genuine welcome. I wish I'd had more time to enjoy all the amenities, including lounging by the pool. I was absolutely blown away by my stay at Karoo Sun Boutique Guest House - Bed & Breakfast, and highly recommend it for a beautiful, relaxing getaway with plenty of citrus. Fair warning, you may never want to leave!

We felt at home and safe here, and everyone was so friendly and welcoming, from the hosts to every staff member. Breakfast was delicious each day and always served with a smile. Drinks were available day and night, even during load shedding, which we hardly noticed because the house was so well equipped. This is the best accommodation we've ever stayed at. We'll definitely be back!

The balcony looking over the pool and the nicely kept garden was a lovely surprise, and the bathroom was large, with both a bath and a shower. I was in Oudtshoorn for work and needed somewhere after the place I usually use, though I hadn't been back since 2018, couldn't fit my whole stay. Karoo Sun Boutique Guest house worked out well. After flying into George and driving about an hour, a friendly hostess greeted me at the door and got me settled quickly. The room was roomy, clean, and had what I needed plus a few extras. Breakfast came on time, and I couldn't find anything to fault. Thanks, Karoo Sun, I'll be back!
