The horses were the highlight for me as an experienced rider. They were well trained, cared for beautifully, and such a joy to ride. The routes, tastings, and stops were all chosen thoughtfully, with a lovely mix of scenery, adventure, and time to relax. I took the 4-day Cape Winelands riding and wine tasting tour, and it was unforgettable. The planning was seamless, so I could just enjoy the trip. Louis, the owner, made it feel warm and personal, and the whole experience seemed tailored to me. The guides were welcoming, knowledgeable, and fun company on long days in the saddle. I really enjoyed our conversations, their knowledge of the region, and how much they care about their work. It was an easy, special trip that I'll remember for a long time. I can't recommend Cape Winelands Riding enough, and I'll definitely be back.

We chose this place and were very glad we did. The 1.5-hour ride was just right. The guide was friendly, and so were the horses. My husband had never ridden before and enjoyed it a lot. We went through nearby vineyards and orchards. I'd recommend it.

The 3-hour wine tasting ride was excellent value and a great experience. The horses were calm and easy for beginners to ride, and the guides were friendly and knew their stuff. The winery was wonderful. We bought wine and olive oil there and had them delivered to our home in the US. Many thanks to Louis, Marie, and the whole staff.

We went on the sunset ride today, and it was one of those evenings we'll remember for ages. The mountains behind the vineyards made the countryside breathtaking, and the whole ride felt calm, unhurried, and grounding. Our guide was kind, attentive, and knowledgeable, while still giving us room to enjoy the peace. The guides were also happy to take photos, which we'll really treasure. The horses were calm, in lovely condition, and a pleasure to ride. As an experienced rider, I was glad to see their welfare clearly matters. My partner has only ridden a couple of times and felt completely at ease, which is great because I don't want to scare him away from my favourite hobby! Louis gave us thoughtful advice about the different rides, and organizing it was easy. Communication was prompt and reassuring, and he and the team made us feel comfortable as soon as we arrived. Thanks again to Louis and the team, we hope to see you soon.

Louis and everyone on the Cape Winelands Riding team made my stay special. They couldn't have been more helpful, and matched me with two lovely horses based on the preferences I'd shared in advance. The whole thing was easy and wonderful, with gorgeous views all day from horseback. The lunch spots had been chosen thoughtfully too. I hope I can come back next year.
