The Light House Boutique Suites

Breakfast was a treat again, with so many choices that my partner happily ate through the whole morning. Mika and Petro served it so attentively that even with other guests around, it felt like having our own butlers. The beds were heavenly after a long day, and every suite has its own look, with the kind of detail you might expect from Ralph Lauren. This was our second visit, and the team somehow met the high expectations set by our first stay. Darrol, Hendrik, Mika and Petro were waiting at the door, smiling and keen to take our bags and help however they could. Darrol and Hendrik shared plenty of laughs and stories with us, and their kindness made us feel at home. Saying goodbye was hard, though knowing we’ll be back made it easier. Thank you for making this the highlight of our travels through Franschoek.

We were only there this morning for a function. The place is beautiful and peaceful, with lovely decor and an amazing eye for detail. The staff were caring, and even the unexpected load shedding didn’t spoil the atmosphere. It must be heavenly to stay overnight.

We only booked two nights at the beginning of March, and I really wished we could have stayed longer. The house feels beautifully put together, with each piece seeming bespoke, and we felt completely comfortable there. A big thank you to Hendrik, Darrel and the friendliest hotel staff I’ve ever met. We had a wonderful stay at he Light House in Paarl.

The team were so warm, helpful and friendly, always going the extra mile to make us feel special. It’s a peaceful, beautiful boutique place, and breakfast looked lovely as well as being cooked just right. I absolutely loved staying at The Light House and will definitely be back in the near future.
