Very neat and comfortable, but the swimming pool in the gallery isn’t available for everyone to use. They shouldn’t advertise it on the website.

The chalets are close to the river, and parking right beside them was great. Reception was good and informative, though we were told that Parys has loadshedding three times a day. The rooms were a bit smaller than I expected, but otherwise okay.

The River Chalets are spacious, tidy, and very private, in a quiet and peaceful setting. The owners were humble, professional, attentive, and always available to help. They made our stay comfortable and memorable.

A good place to stay overnight, but also somewhere to unwind around a fire or take a walk along the Vaal River, about 500 meters away. The guesthouse has large, stylish, comfortable rooms, each with its own theme. The setting is peaceful, the hosts are very friendly, and there’s plenty of bird life. You might even get a visit from monkeys coming across the river around dinner time.

We stayed in the leopard room just for the bath 😂, and it really was a great place to sleep. The beds are huge, the rooms get cleaned every day, and the service is super friendly. Such a relaxing area for a break away.
