The terrace looks out over the sea and beach, and the sunset views are breathtaking. There’s direct beach access, and wonderful restaurants are within walking distance. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the owner is friendly. This is an expensive, upmarket lodge. Unfortunately, a significant amount of money was stolen while we were away from the room, when our car was away from the parking area. We phoned the police in Vredenburg. The officer was friendly and took time to speak with us, but couldn't help because the second key was accessible to all staff. We decided not to pursue it and waste time with no outcome. Part of it was our mistake, as there was a room safe available, and we learned our lesson. The incident affected us emotionally during our expensive four-day stay. Guests should lock away valuables and enjoy their time at this lovely lodge. The owner should keep secondary keys secure and manage staff closely.

We had a wonderful time in Paternoster, thank you so much. The guesthouse is in a beautiful spot on the beach, and the hosts and staff were all so kind and helpful.

The ocean is right there, with a good choice of restaurants nearby, and falling asleep and waking up to its sounds was pure bliss. We enjoyed every second and will have to come back. We spent two wonderful days here and felt warmly welcomed, almost at home from the first moment. The rooms are thoughtfully designed, and the ocean view is amazing, especially waking up to blue sky and waves. Breakfast was plentiful, and the warm dish was fine too. I found the egg dishes, egg soufflé and omelette, a bit much, but they were absolutely good if you like eggs.

The owner and staff are incredible, going out of their way to make guests comfortable. The rooms are fully equipped, neat, modern, spacious, and have incredible sea views. Set right on the beach in a quiet, peaceful part of Paternoster, this guest house is ideal for a relaxing break. It has private beach access for morning or evening walks, and the waterfront is within walking distance. We'll definitely stay here again when we visit Paternoster and recommend it to friends and family.

Marianne and her staff made us feel so welcome. They're friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast was wonderful, with imaginative dishes and plenty of variety, and our lovely room had a balcony overlooking the boulders and ocean. The guest house is in a superb beachfront location. Falling asleep and waking to the sounds and smell of the sea is sheer bliss. We'll definitely visit again.
