I’d stayed at Melrose place in 2021 and found it clean and well kept, nothing fancy, but fine for work travel. My stay in April was very different. There was mold on the wall and tiles, stains on the linen, coffee cup rings on the kitchen counter, and hair in the shower drain. I was grossed out by how dirty and uncared for it felt. Please have a second person check the rooms before handing guests the keys.

We had a large group staying there for a weekend tournament. The staff were friendly, always helpful, and very accommodating. I can recommend them 100% as a place to stay!

We had a lovely night in number 7. It was quiet, clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. Check-in and check-out were both quick and easy, and the parking was covered and felt safe. I’d definitely recommend this guesthouse for a stay in Potch.

The staff were friendly and we had a great stay. Our first room had worn-out mattresses, but they moved us to another room where the beds were much better. The pillows could definitely be firmer.
