Unathi Guest Lodge

The breakfast Mofumahadi and Ntokozo prepared was mouthwatering. The whole team made an effort to keep our stay easy and enjoyable. We also got an amazing welcome from the man at reception, and the service and professionalism were excellent. Thank you so much.

The reception guy was super friendly and really nice. I think he said his name was Thabiso, and he did try to help when we couldn’t get a signal on the room TV, though it didn’t work out. The rooms, bedding, and shower were clean, but this place is really only suited to a night’s rest and a morning shower if you’re in the area for a funeral, wedding, or other function. You have to be the first one up if you want a hot or warm shower because the geysers are small. Breakfast was okay but needs a lot of improvement. Dinner was horrible, and I wished I could cook for myself since there are no nearby restaurants. The owners should get out more and see what other guest houses and lodges are doing. For me, otherwise, it’s a no.

I absolutely love Unathi's. The staff are friendly and professional, and the place is clean. If your work doesn’t need a strong, reliable WiFi connection, it’s the best place in the whole vicinity, and I’d recommend it nine times out of ten. For work that does depend on steady WiFi, though, this isn’t the place for you, despite the staff trying to help. It’s a pity the connection is unreliable, but that may be what you’ll find throughout the area.

The staff were friendly, communication was quick, and parking was available. However, there was no hot water, the TV wasn’t working, and other guests made noise while having a function at night.
