Breakfast is incredible, with a huge selection laid out in a really appetizing way. The tables are on the balcony, where you can watch the ocean and waves, and often Dolphins too. Periwinkle Lodge was a great place to stay, and Plettenberg has a gigantic beach and a large rob colony. We got a warm welcome and a nice room. The two guys running the lodge were very funny, had a good sense of humour, and were helpful. We'd stay there again anytime. Warmest regards, Reinhard and Frank

The views are incredible, and check-in started off nicely with coffee and cake. We stayed for two nights in December, but the room was disappointing: ants were coming in from both the balcony and bathroom. The small pool has only four deck chairs, and we couldn't really use it until late evening. There were no pool towels available, as the cleaners had taken them from our room. The location is nice, but the service needs improvement.

Heidi and her team put a lot of care into meeting guests' wishes. We forgot a charger, and Heidi sent it on to Cape Town. Thanks as well for the great excursion information. The place is beautiful, with a small pool overlooking the sea and a rich breakfast buffet.

The breakfast was the best, and the rooms were really nice, especially with the floor heating. The pool is a bit shallow, but still enjoyable. I'd definitely get the afternoon cake or snack too, ours was awesome.

A few steps from the lovely beach, this guesthouse is in a great spot. The rooms were spotless and stylish, breakfast was generous, and the crew showed warm, genuine hospitality.
