For a quick stopover or a short business meeting or family visit, the prices are reasonable and Polokwane Royal Hotel works well. The rooms are around 24m², so they don't feel especially spacious and aren't really suited to a longer stay. Breakfast was okay, though the setup seemed disorganized. The cashier and assistant were the same person, so it was basically a wait-your-turn situation.

From outside, Polokwane Royal could pass for a lodge, but inside it's a lovely, well-maintained hotel. The interior impressed me, and the staff were both professional and friendly. I had a great stay and plan to bring more business here. I'd recommend it!

When you flush the toilet, water leaks out and spreads across the bathroom floor. The food servers were also awful. They gave us small portions, then said more people were coming when we complained. Even after everyone had eaten, they refused to give us more, saying we'd already eaten and needed extra vouchers. They all seemed grumpy and very unprofessional, like serving us was a favor.

The room was tidy and ready for us, and the modern, well-kept bathroom was a highlight. We also appreciated the early check-in and the flexibility to leave a little late. The staff welcomed us warmly, and the property had great facilities, plenty of parking, and a restaurant with a relaxing atmosphere. The motion-sensor light in the room's passage was a real problem at night. Every bathroom trip set off a bright light that woke the whole family, and we heard other guests had the same issue. I hope management adjusts or removes it. Aside from that, we had a lovely stay and would consider returning.

A clean, easy-to-reach venue with good service all around. Great for conferences.
