The place is in very bad shape, and I was genuinely disappointed because it’s not what it used to be. The pool looked very dirty, floor tiles were broken, and the bed, towels, shower, and toilet pit all looked dirty. The towels looked like cleaning cloths, “sekoropo.” They switch off the geyser, so there’s no hot water when you need it. I’ve been itchy and have some sores, so I suspect there might even be bed bugs, though I don’t know. Customer service is poor too.

The place is poorly maintained, and I wouldn’t recommend it. In our room, the bathroom ceiling had mould and there was no shower mat, carpet, cups, or glasses. The TV didn’t work, and the first room we were given didn’t have a bathroom window. The pool was super dirty as well.

The water was cold in the morning, and when we asked, the staff said they switch off the geyser. The rooms are badly maintained too: cracked tiles and a cracked toilet seat, a shower door that won’t close, stained bedding, and no towels.

There was no electricity, so at 2 in the morning my loved one and I had to go ask the security guard to turn the generator back on. The woman who helped us had said it would run from 6 in the afternoon until 5 in the morning. They lied about everything. The TV and bathroom light didn’t work, and we weren’t allowed to use the air conditioner. There was a kettle but no cups or glasses. It was a really horrible stay, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

I didn’t enjoy my stay. The room wasn’t clean, with a spider web above the plug behind the kettle stand, and the basin stopper was stuck and wouldn’t pop out. There was a function by the pool, and one of the women working there chased us away, saying the people had booked the whole place. It was so hot that we were stuck inside our room, which was the first one beside the pool. There were two women working there. The slim one was really nice, but the other one, with dreadlocks in a bun, wasn’t nice at all. Her attitude needs to change or she’ll ruin the lodge’s reputation.
