The sea is just a three-minute walk away, which was a real treat. I also loved having the pool as a bonus. The small cottage had everything I needed for three weeks, and it stayed cosy, clean, and well stocked throughout. Sanumi checked in on me often and became a lovely friend during the week. Sanumi, Warren, Skyla, Savannah, and Linda were all welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. I’m grateful to Sanumi and her family, and I’ll definitely stay at 3040 on Freshwater again when I’m next in Port Alfred. 😘

The view is beautiful, and the host is wonderful. For my 40th birthday, my friend called Sanumi to arrange a welcome banner, and she came through. The decorations looked lovely and made the day feel extra special. I’ll definitely visit again.

There’s a good range of rooms to pick from, and the prices are very reasonable. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and Netflix was included. Sanumi is a friendly, helpful hostess. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

We could hear the ocean in the evenings, and the beach was only a minute’s walk away. It’s a lovely choice for a quiet, peaceful beach break. From the deck at Milkwood house, you get a clear view of the Milkyway, so stargazers will enjoy it too. Sanumi and Warren did everything they could to make our visit special, and we’re really grateful. The rooms were comfortable, well kept, and had plenty of supplies. We had a wonderful stay.

My husband was working in Port Alfred for a month, and we were lucky to find this place. The house had everything we needed to cook for ourselves, and that comfortable bed made it feel like home away from home. Thanks to Sanumi and Warren for looking after us. We hope to return to 3040 on Freshwater!
