Alfred View is a welcoming guesthouse with spotless facilities. Frank is a generous, patient, and dedicated host who really looks after his guests. Highly recommended for a comfortable, memorable stay.

Breakfast was fresh, generous, delicious, and clearly made with care. Frank also made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. He was warm and professional, kept us informed, and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and well looked after. The peaceful, expansive views were a highlight, and waking up to all that natural beauty made the stay relaxing and memorable. Alfred View Guest House brings together comfort, hospitality, and lovely surroundings. We highly recommend it for a peaceful getaway with great service, and we’ll certainly be back.

I came to Alfred View for a bit of peace and rest, and that’s exactly what I got. The view is stunning, and Frank and his team make a lovely breakfast. The host was friendly and ready to help with whatever was needed. It’s peaceful, with lots of space to sit and reset, and decent restaurants for lunch or dinner are nearby. There’s a lovely marina view from the rooms and big deck, plus plenty of shade and strong WiFi throughout. The rooms were spacious and immaculately clean. Breakfast was first rate, and fantastic coffee was available anytime. A really great two-night stay at a proper first-rate B&B.

I’ve stayed in every room, and I can recommend them all. Alfred view is the only place I’d choose when visiting Port Alfred. It’s tastefully decorated, and the host cooks a delicious, generous breakfast. I wouldn’t look anywhere else. Xxx
