The staff were warm and helpful throughout, and the game drive was amazing. We stayed at Skukuza Rest Camp soon after the floods, and everything was managed very well. Our bungalow was tidy and well maintained, with a fridge, AC, hot shower, and basic cooking utensils. It was properly thatched and netted, so we didn't have any creepy crawlies inside, which made things more pleasant. The camp is large but laid out well. The supermarket was well stocked with almost everything needed for a comfortable stay, and there are restaurants and a prayer room too. A very comfortable, well-organized, memorable visit. I'd highly recommend Skukuza Rest Camp.

The camp is in a perfect spot for the peace and quiet you want, with friendly, helpful staff and fantastic service. The accommodation is superb in my humble opinion. Some keyboard worriers might disagree, but that comes down to individual experience. The place is clean and tidy, and well done to everyone who cleaned up after the heavy rains. There are two issues worth mentioning. Power outages at Skukuza Rest Camp are somewhat unexpected. More troubling are the safari operators in green SANPARK vehicles and light brown private vehicles, who show no regard for fellow campers or road users. They should be held accountable for serious misconduct.

The camp is amazing, and the updated bungalows are perfect. The sunset drives are brilliant. My one gripe is how dark it gets inside the park at night when you park to go to the restaurant. That area could really use some lighting. Aside from that, five stars 🌟

We stayed in an older bungalow. It was dated but adequate, with clean linen and towels, hot water, and comfy beds. Having a fridge, microwave, kettle, and basic kitchen things was great. Skukuza rest camp is a handy stop if you want early or late access to the park. We'd stay again.

It's always lovely to be in Kruger and stay in the reserve. Heavy rain and flooding meant we couldn't reach the camps we'd booked, but the staff did an excellent job moving us to Skukuza. They kept working hard in difficult conditions and did it with a smile. 10/10 to them. The camp was full, so we ended up with an old, tired, very cramped Rondawel with drainage problems. It was clean, which I appreciated, but overpriced for what you get. I have to rate the room honestly, and less than mediocre fits. There are spectacular new and upgraded Rondawels at the same price, with more space, indoor and outdoor braai areas, and lovely bathrooms. Hopefully next time I'll get one of those and have a very different room rating.
