Such a peaceful place, with a calm feel from the moist air coming off the nearby beach. The rooms are clean and the staff are friendly. A really lovely spot to stay.

The property’s Google Maps listing says breakfast is included, but once I booked, no breakfast option was offered. Management didn’t seem concerned about guests making noise and partying until 4:30am, which is unacceptable for anyone else staying there. It’s nowhere near the 4-star rating they give themselves.

The service was so lovely, and I had a really nice stay. The place is as clean as it looks in the pictures. I’d definitely recommend it to people.

We didn’t need to drive to get to either of the two beaches, since they’re right in front. The place was clean, had room service, a swimming pool, and a braai area. Reception was great too. I was there on holiday with my for our anniversary, and I recommend Villa De Mer for a holiday.

I picked the best room and it felt like staying in a hotel. The staff were friendly, breakfast was delicious, and the ocean views were gorgeous. The beach is just a short walk from the house. Even with other guests around, it was very quiet. I had an amazing time.
