Caribbean Estates Montego Bay 38 - A Riverside Getaway

The location was the best part, whether we wanted to drive to wild Coast casino or walk to the beach. Security was on top of things as soon as we arrived, which felt reassuring. The rooms and layouts are beautifully designed and furnished.

The rooms were three-star quality, with everything there but nothing up to date. We didn’t have enough towels or toilet paper, though the cleaning staff were friendly. Elsewhere, the coffee was great, the coffee shop and convenience store were handy, and the staff treated everyone with kindness and respect. It was a pleasant family stay, and we’d do it again.

The best part for us was having so much to do while still enjoying a peaceful family break. We took the trail down to the beach early to watch the sunrise, and the river views from the windows were lovely. There are fun trails, and a ferry crosses to the Wild Coast, where water sports are available. Back at Motego Bay, Carribean Estates, we had trampolines, mini golf, volleyball, pools, a games room, and a small tourist and grocery shop to use. Our rooms were spotless, and the staff were genuinely helpful and pleasant. We had a great stay with family. A couple of things could be improved: the games room could use more to do, and the tennis courts need updating, along with some new rackets and balls. Still, it was a wonderful getaway with friends or family, and I’d happily recommend it.

Nosipho, the housekeeper, took such good care of the house, and I want to thank her for that. We really enjoyed visiting. It’s a lovely, quiet place, and we’re definitely planning to return soon.
