Ocean View Villas C11

My weekend booking at Apartment G4 turned into just one night because the conditions were so uncomfortable that we had to make other arrangements at Wildcoast. We lost the money for the remaining time, and the owners refused to reimburse us. I can't recommend this apartment. The braai area was dirty when we arrived, and the furniture was worn and outdated. There was a bad, lingering smell, especially in the kitchen and bathrooms, and insects kept us from sleeping. The ironing board was broken, the fans were old and filthy, and some had broken plugs. The beds sagged and were extremely uncomfortable. The bathrooms were in disrepair, and the balcony had cheap, dirty furniture. Those are just some of the problems we encountered.

The Edwardian has units owned by different people, so a problem in one unit shouldn't lead to a bad review for the whole place. It's fairer to name the unit, so future guests can see which one had the issue. Other units at the Edwardian are neat and well cared for. Sadhi has a reasonably priced unit at the primier hotel Edwardian that sleeps 2 to 4 people and is beautifully decorated. The pool is lovely, and it's 5 minutes from the wild coast casino and water park, and 2 minutes from the shopping centre and food outlets. Thank you. This was extremely disappointing. We knew it wasn't a five-star place and only needed one night after spending the day at Wild Waves, since nothing else was available. The place was dirty, the remotes didn't work, the couches were broken with nails sticking out, the air conditioners didn't work, the windows wouldn't close, and the bathroom sink was out of order. Shocking. The website didn't match what was actually offered. Three families were with us, and none of us got any response from management after we complained.

A clean, affordable place to spend the night and get some rest.
