I travel a lot and stay in plenty of places, but this was the cleanest I've ever seen. The people were friendly too. I'd recommend it any day.

The service was excellent, and everyone was friendly and helpful. The unit was neat and clean, the gardens were lovely, and the pool was clean too. It was hot and humid, though, and there was no air conditioning. The fan helped, but the humidity at night was rough. I didn't want to leave the door open since our room faced the entrance and that area wasn't secure. The area is beautiful, and a sea view would have made it perfect.

The hostess was friendly. There are lots of trees around, so it's a good fit for people who enjoy nature, and the beach isn't far away. The rooms have fans but no air conditioning.

It's clean and homely, set beside a forest, but there were no mosquitoes or frogs making noise at night. The view is beautiful, and it's only 7 km from PortShepstone. We got a warm welcome at reception, and the owner actually spends time talking with you. If you've got a little time, ask about the Barn Swallows. It's a lovely story to hear.

The inside has a cozy feel, and the building gives a bit of a villa impression. The road in is quite an eye opener if you're used to 21st century tar, like a "Columbian Jungle." I ended up with an ant-infested bed for two nights in a row, unfortunately. The owners were helpful and tried to compensate me. There's security, no cell phone reception, and plenty of space. I'm left with mixed feelings.
