This no longer feels like a resort, and there’s no service. The lifts don’t work, so you have to use the stairs, and the building doesn’t seem to be maintained. The units are actually flats, with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an open plan living room and kitchen. Some have decent ocean views, depending on which side of the building you’re on. There’s a lot of noise and partying from Fridays through Sunday mornings, and it’s very dirty outside. I wouldn’t call it the best place for kids. For a business trip, it might be okay.

It was shocking. The place was dilapidated, with broken fans and furniture, mould on the walls, spiders in the ceiling corners, and other insects in the curtains. We booked one night but left after an hour and a half. Most of that time was spent with booking.com trying to sort it out. It’s definitely not a 3star hotel as the host would have you believe, and the photos are from ages ago. The surrounding area is run down too.

The place looks and feels more like an apartment building than a holiday destination, and the kitchen utensils are outdated. We stayed in unit 42, which was neat and tidy, but there were cockroaches and the bathtub was dirty. They supplied one toilet roll for five to six people, and when the electricity ran out, we had to reload it at our own cost. This hotel isn’t up to standard.
