The rooms were dirty and had a funny smell. The fans didn’t work, and there was no air conditioning.

They were waiting for us when we arrived late after a wedding, and there was enough safe parking. The guest house was clean and lovely, with really friendly people. I booked for four at the last minute and they still helped me. Susan was available on her mobile throughout the day to answer questions and give directions.
The omelet was the worst baked one I’ve ever had, unless you’re a big fan of vet. Our room had a small, homemade bunk bed, and a pole supporting its simple frame made it hard to get out of bed. The room isn’t shown on their site, so be warned. They also say that all the rooms connect to the garden, but that’s only true of a few. I won’t be back.
Breakfast was amazing, and the garden is beautiful. Our room was clean too. Susan went out of her way to make things work for us, and the other staff were friendly and helpful. Staying here was a pleasure, and we’ll be back in the near future.
Everything we needed was nearby, with easy access to Pretoria’s major roads, but the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxed. We felt safe, including with the children, and were treated like royalty. The service was wonderful. I can’t wait to return. It’s the best place to stay in or near Pretoria.
