I stayed here earlier in the year and had a lovely time, but this visit the restaurant let us down. They brought out the breakfast menu and then advised us to order omelettes. We didn’t want those and asked for the full breakfast instead. It took ages, and the sausage was raw. We had to ask for toast, and white bread was the only option. There were no jams or other condiments, no glasses for juice, and the tea water was cold. Service was very slow and the staff seemed uninterested. It feels as if standards slip when the guesthouse isn’t full. I was very disappointed and won’t stay again.

The food was so good, and the place was spotless. We were there for Valentine’s dinner, and the staff made us feel really welcome. Special thanks to Sandile. We’ll definitely be back!

The room was impeccably clean, and the welcome started as soon as we walked in. The staff were polite and genuinely warm throughout. Great service, and I’ll definitely come back.

I was there for a meeting, so I can’t speak to the guest house rooms. The conference venue at African Penguin Guest house worked well for me. There’s secure parking, security, and friendly staff, and I’d recommend it.

The pool was superb, just what I wanted for a swim. It’s a lovely place with great staff, and I’d definitely recommend it.
