The setting is nice, and the place was clean and well located. Evelyn made a wonderful breakfast, and the owner made a point of greeting us and chatting. The manager, though, seemed more focused on getting me to settle my account before my stay was over. I would have liked him to be friendlier.

We were there overnight for a Visa appointment, and it was a lovely experience. The room was spacious, airy and clean, and friendly staff served breakfast. There's access to an outdoor pool and an immaculate garden. We didn't even notice the loadshedding.

10/10
We slept incredibly well, and woke to sunshine and birdsong. Brooklyn Place has spacious, beautifully furnished rooms, all meticulously clean, with white robes and a chocolate waiting for us. The bathroom had a Victorian bath and shampoos, conditioners, soaps and creams, so we didn't need to pack toiletries. The hosts were so welcoming, and the decor made the place feel like old English elegance, from the luxury carpets to the crackling fireplace. It felt like being treated like royalty. During the day, the trees made the guest house feel peaceful, while classical music added a sophisticated touch. Breakfast was superb, with several delicious dishes on a picture-perfect patio overlooking clear blue water.

The owners run this classical Victorian guest house and put real care into making sure guests feel safe and comfortable. It has that home-from-home feeling, with comfortable beds, spotless spacious bathrooms, pristine linen, delicious breakfasts and personal attention to what you need to travel comfortably.

The owners were helpful, polite and caring, and the place felt very safe and quiet. I had a memorable, pleasant and comfortable stay, with approachable staff, a delicious breakfast and a beautiful garden. Awesome experience, I'd give it 5/5 and would certainly come again. Thanks and Namaste from India :)
