We had a really unpleasant experience and I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place for the price. When we arrived, no one was at reception. Another lady was waiting too and drinking a bottle of wine. She thought we worked at the guesthouse and called for help. Once we finally got our rooms, the atmosphere felt uncomfortable and cold. The beds were hard, the furniture wasn’t good quality, and the bathwater was cold. The towels were paper thin, and the breakfast menu was disappointing too.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were really friendly. We booked at short notice, but they still arranged access for us, sent the entry codes, and made sure keys were available for our early-hours arrival.

Getting in and out of the complex after midnight was a problem, and when I asked for the pins, the owner or manager was really rude. They need to come up with a better way to handle access. The service was terrible.

We’ve been coming back for three years and always have a good stay. The spa bath is amazing, and it’s great value for money. In the St Andrew's room, a fresh colour scheme would add to the comfort and exclusivity that are already there. I’d also like more comfortable mattresses and a slightly larger TV for viewing from the beds. We can’t wait to return, and would highly recommend staying here.

The place was clean, but it felt cold and lacked a personal touch. The reception area was dark and unwelcoming, with no lights on, and the uncomfortable beds didn’t help. The showerhead needs replacing because you have to move around to get wet. Towels were clean but worn and paper thin, and the room minibar was empty. Laundry left in the lounge when we arrived was still there the next day when we left. It generally needs updating and someone with a sharp eye for detail overseeing things. The website photos and description set expectations it didn’t meet.
