The hosts were always easy to communicate with. Aloe cottage really felt like a home away from home, with a well equipped kitchen, bathroom, living room, and bedroom, plus more than I needed for a comfortable stay. It’s a beautiful cottage, and they did a great job refurbishing the old building. The decoration is fantastic, with every detail fitting together nicely. I enjoyed every minute there.

The units are well equipped and the beds are really comfortable. Ta Mala's is beautifully located, and the hosts are the friendliest. It works nicely for a quick overnight stay or a long weekend. We’ll definitely be back! 😊

The cottage has a living area, full kitchen, and an outdoor courtyard where you can braai or enjoy food you picked up along the way. It also feels like part of Western Cape Heritage, and there’s even a small swimming pool on the property. Ta Mala’s was a wonderful experience, and we wished we’d had more time in the area. It was our first trip to Prince Albert, and the whole town charmed us. You can easily walk to the Theatre and museum. Ta Mala’s is close to the Hotel, the main road, and all the restaurants and pubs along the ‘strip’. By the way, we drove toward Oudtshoorn via Meiringspoort. The scenery and road quality were exceptional. We stopped at the Waterfall, where travellers can park safely and take an easy walk from the parking lot.
