The view here is still the best, but I was disappointed coming back to a place that used to be stunning. The new owners seem to have missed its pared-back French charm. It now feels cluttered with vintage bric-a-brac, without the cool, and there’s a TV sitting on the piano, which seems unnecessary in a spot like this. The garden has also been allowed to grow wild into a weedy mess.
