The rooms were tidy and clean, and the staff were friendly. It's in an upper class neighborhood, though the driveways are steep, so be ready for that. I'd recommend it.

The driveway gate sometimes took a while to open when we called the number, apparently because cellphone coverage kept fluctuating. The hosts live on the premises and were always on hand to sort it out, so it didn't spoil our stay. We felt safe throughout, and the host even moved us into luxury units at no extra charge to suit our group, especially the older members. The two spacious apartments were comfortable and had spectacular views over Johannesburg. Everything was clean and well looked after, and the setting was peaceful with a convenient location. We also didn't have to worry about load shedding or the water crisis, since the guest house had its own water supply and electricity backup. The host was kind and attentive, and our weekend exceeded expectations. I'd happily recommend it to anyone after a quiet Johannesburg retreat, and I can't wait to return.

The rooms are roomy and have all the essentials, and guests can use the pool. The owner welcomed us herself and showed us around. It's in a quiet spot near shops and the main street, with an amazing view of Jo'burgs skyline. Absolutely recommendable.
