Aristo Manor

It looked very clean, and the service seemed promising. They were fully booked, which made sense after seeing the place. I got inside and spoke with a staff member, who helped me find somewhere else to stay. I hope to book next time and experience the full service.

We slept so well during our six-day stay, thanks to rooms that get very dark at night. The rooms at Aristo Manor were exceptionally clean, spacious, comfortable, and luxurious, with more amenities than I've found in other hotels or guest houses, and the price was very good. The management and staff were so friendly. My wife is very particular, but she can't stop talking about this place. I'd recommend it as a first choice for anyone visiting Richards bay.

We stayed in falcons nest, a small two-bedroom apartment. It was clean and modern, and all the appliances worked well. The thatched roof hadn't been mentioned, and there was only a shower. The lookout deck has lots of stairs and no safety gate, so it wasn't suitable for my small children. Still, we had a good experience.

The venue is beautiful, but our stay was awful. We arrived early and were asked to come back later, which was fair enough. Then, before checkout time, the cleaners started stripping our bedroom while we were still in it, so we had to change our plans and leave early. There were cockroaches in the bedroom, broken connecting doors between the kids' room and ours, and the shower in one room and bath in the other didn't work. Items listed for the bar fridge weren't there, and the garden water features weren't turned on. There were exposed electrical wires on the porch air conditioner, right at the perfect height for our kids to hurt themselves. They made a real half-baked effort to make things pleasant. We've had better stays at our friends' empty house in toti, so we'll go there next time.
