Rawsonville House

The rooms are great, with quality bedding and spacious bathrooms, and the price is fair for what you get. Lisa, the owner, greeted us herself with a friendly smile and made us feel at home. A great find in Rawsonville, and I can recommend staying at Rawsonville Guesthouse.

The lounge, dining area, beautiful garden, and pool were all available for us to use. One evening we took a very pleasant walk through the neighboring vineyards down to the river. My friend and I stayed two nights while exploring the area, and Lisa made sure we had everything we needed. Our room and bathroom were clean and comfortable.

The beds were comfortable, and the house was exceptionally neat, clean, and tidy. There was secure parking and a magnificent garden, the Garden of Eden. We spent Saturday evening, 9 October, at Rawsonville House, Rawsonville, where Lisa gave us a heartfelt welcome when we arrived. We said goodbye to our host on Sunday morning, and would recommend this lovely guesthouse to friends or anyone interested.

On my third stay at Rawsonville House, on 12 Sep 2024, I booked at very short notice. Lisa was so helpful and accommodating, and my wife decided to join me for the one-night stopover. When we arrived, we were invited to enjoy the garden. Lisa and crew made sure we were comfortable, then left us to our privacy. It’s a lovely spot to watch the sunset with a glass from a local winery. We took an easy walk to the restaurant, Die Stalle, which I also highly recommend, enjoyed a lovely meal, then strolled back. What began as a Thursday morning panic to help a client in the area turned into complete serenity. I hope more reasons to stay come up, and I’ll make some up if they don’t. I was working during an earlier stopover, but would happily come for a weekend as a couple. Lisa was very welcoming and did all she could to make my stay comfortable. I understand the owners are new and are working to make Rawsonville House an even better option.
