The Grand Hotel has an elegant feel while still being welcoming, and the spaces are stylish and roomy enough for both a ceremony and reception. It makes a beautiful wedding venue, with sophistication that doesn't feel too formal. The team is friendly and professional, and things ran smoothly from beginning to end. It really helps set the mood for a special day. A lovely choice for a wedding celebration in Robertson.

The staff were all friendly and attentive, and the restaurant's food was great for very reasonable prices. Breakfast doesn't offer many choices, but the quality is good. The hotel has a small pool, spacious rooms, large bathrooms, and a colonial style. It's a great boutique hotel, arguably the best in Robertson. My only suggestion is to open the gates earlier. I went out for a run at 6am, but they were shut. From what I could understand, they open at 7am, probably for security reasons, so I had to climb the wall to get out.

We had a relaxing stay at the grand hotel and were welcomed so warmly by Benita & Walter. The setting is beautiful, and there are thoughtful touches that add to the experience. The staff were very attentive, especially Paul and Margarete ☺️. The nightly rate is definitely on the higher end for South Africa 🇿🇦.

We were looking for a two-night escape from the city, and The Grand Hotel delivered. It's a lovely hidden gem in Robertson, with outstanding service from attentive, genuinely friendly staff who were hands-on throughout our stay. The location made it easy to explore town and nearby activities, and the wine farms are close by, so we didn't have to drive far. A thoroughly enjoyable stay, highly recommended.

The room was comfortable and well maintained, and the whole stay went beyond what we expected. The Grand Hotel has a striking atmosphere and plenty of character. What stood out most was the staff: warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. Each interaction felt personal, and we were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived. A fantastic place to stay. We'd happily come back and recommend it to others! 👍
