What a disappointment. There was no milk in the room, and the coffee powder had clumped into one hard lump. The bathroom basin had no hand soap, and electrical leads were hanging along the wall with various connections. I also had to phone the owner to get DSTV connected.

I’m really unhappy because losing my deposit has upset the budget for a trip with my kids. I paid R3330 on 12 October 2024, but nobody seemed to be paying attention to my booking, and my messages went unanswered. The woman who answered the phone made claims and acted as if she’d resolve it. I changed my review to three stars because I hoped it was sorted, but I was wrong to trust what I was told. I can’t really blame you, and I do thank you. God works in foolish ways. It seems you’ve served everyone well except me.

Yolanda was so friendly and made us feel at home. She helped make our stay comfortable, and the owner gave us a warm welcome over the phone. We absolutely loved our time at 50 Galena. Thanks for the great service, Yolanda. God bless you.

I’d stayed there before without paying a deposit, so I confirmed the booking on WhatsApp and expected it to be in place. When I got to the gate, I waited outside for nearly half an hour, only to be told the place was full. If a deposit was required, the business should have told me. The lack of communication was unprofessional.
