Town Lodge Roodepoort

Breakfast was good, the staff were very friendly, and the hotel let me have food delivered with Mr. Delivery. The rooms were clean and neat, though small, and the beds were comfortable and clean, with standard length. I stayed at the Town Lodge for three weeks, excluding weekends. Ground floor windows only open a little for security, but the aluminium frame handles were loose and didn’t close securely. Dinners were okay, although service was very slow and the wait for food was long. The hotel was busy, and on more than one evening other guests were loud late into the night and disturbed everyone’s rest. No toiletries were supplied for the first three days of my stay. I’d be fine staying for a night or two, but not for an extended visit.

That extra charge was really sneaky. I wouldn't book without reading the terms first, since they may add 40 usd to an 80 usd booking.

The waiters were friendly and served with pride. I especially want to salute the gentleman who made the porridge, that’s why I’ll keep choosing town lodge. A bar fridge in the rooms would make things more convenient.

The rooms were clean and had warm blankets, plus a heater and tea or coffee. Reception gave great customer service, the security guards were helpful, and the parking felt safe. Thanks to Google Maps, my friend made it to his Man City game. The TV is too small, but it was a 5🌟 stay for me. Will definitely visit again ☺️.
