The birdlife and wildlife made this a lovely escape, with buck and hares around and nice walks nearby. I especially enjoyed sitting on the verandah in the early morning, then watching the sun set over the dam and mountains. It’s quiet, safe, and well placed for anyone needing a break from busy city life. Beautiful cottage and amazing views. Highly recommended.

There’s a lovely dam right by the cottage, and the Midlands Meander is only a few minutes’ drive away. It’s a beautiful little hideaway, and the low price gives no hint of how warmly you’ll be welcomed.

Graham is a wonderful host, and this is excellent value for money in a gorgeous stretch of countryside.

A peaceful, beautiful place to stay, with the cottage in a fantastic spot. The accommodation was lovely, and I’d happily come back.

We got a good rest here and enjoyed watching the birds. The cottage was clean, had everything we needed, and came with an awesome view.
