Springvale Farm

Before leaving, we wandered around the property for a little while. It was so peaceful, with grazing cows, friendly dogs, Miss Piggy, and an amazing range of birds. After coming for one night to attend a nearby event, we were already talking about coming back in 2026, this time with my husband and our dogs. The farm is beautiful, and our accommodation was wonderfully comfortable. The thoughtful treats made it feel special: fresh farm eggs, including a blue one, milk, butter, and homemade bread. My brother poured himself a glass of milk as soon as we arrived. The rooms were spacious, and the gardens even more so.

The cottage (Sunflower) was so well kept, and the hosts had thought of everything for a cozy stay, including fresh farm milk, homemade butter and bread, and fresh eggs. It was a comfortable, restful place to stay with pets. Our furbabies had the best time, which mattered most to us.

The photos don't do it justice. We arrived to fresh farm bread and butter, with firewood ready for the fireplaces. There's really nothing else to think over. We'll come again.

It's easy to see why this place deserves five stars. The decor is stunning, the service was impeccable, and it felt like good value for money. Check-in was effortless, and everyone was so friendly. Pets are welcome, with a private little garden, plus a mole or two to watch. The farm provides fresh bread, eggs, butter, Full Cream milk, and rusks, and you can pick vegetables for a small fee. There's homemade soap too. The proper farm tub for cooling off or using as a jacuzzi was a gorgeous touch. The property is beautifully tucked away past Nottingham Road.
