The beef and rice tasted very strange to me. There was nobody to greet us or show us to a table when we came in. The waiters only helped after we called them to order, and we had to get the menus ourselves. There also weren't many food choices. As people of colour, we felt we were treated differently and ignored compared with the white diners.

The location is central, and having a good restaurant next door was handy. The rooms were comfortable, although the shower and toilet were small. Traffic noise early on Sunday morning was a nuisance.

There’s a great play area for little ones, and you can keep an eye on them from the upper balcony. The rooms were tidy, the food was good, and the staff made us feel very comfortable. We loved our time at the woodsman bed & Breakfast and would recommend it for a night’s stay or a quick meal.

We stopped here for one night on a motorbike trip and found it very comfortable. We booked bed and breakfast and also had supper. The food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were huge. A great stop when passing through Sabi.
