Budget Tented Village at Urban Glamping - Hostel

The property sits beneath a mature native forest canopy right in the heart of St Lucia, with shops and restaurants nearby that feature South African food and craftsmanship. The grounds and facilities are beautifully maintained, and there’s secure parking and security patrols. The tents are a fun experience for all ages, with upscale hotel comforts while still feeling like a wild Africa adventure. This is a real treat.

The rooms were lovely, and the duvets were the softest ever. Yvonne and everyone at urban glamping were kind and accommodating, and we all had a wonderful time. Thanks for making my first visit to south africa so fun. Just keep an eye out for the monkeys!

The two sides of this St. Lucia property each have their own charm. We stayed in the luxury area, in a stylish, roomy glamping tent that was very comfortable and combined outdoor adventure with hotel-level comfort. The other side is a simpler backpackers’ area with cozy tents. Both areas have their own pool, a fully equipped kitchen, and lovely places to relax. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the care shows in the details. We’ve never had towels that smelled so fresh and good. The friendly reception staff can arrange all sorts of activities, including horseback riding, cultural tours, biking, and hippo and crocodile tours. There’s plenty to do nearby. St. Lucia itself is a gem, with wildlife, culture, and relaxation. Whether you want a relaxed luxury stay or a social backpackers’ atmosphere, this place offers both. We had an unforgettable stay and will definitely be back.

We stayed for three nights with more than 30 ladies. Everything was on point, the staff handled it all, and the owner was pleasant. I’d like to come back with my family.
