I ended up adding a sixth night after staying five. The room was clean and the air-conditioning handled the humidity well. Drinks in the fridge cost extra, but they came in handy when I was thirsty late or didn’t feel like heading out. Breakfast was among the best I’ve had, and at R165 pp it seemed worth it since restaurants would cost more. Laundry is available for longer stays. The shower water was warm at first, but they sorted it out quickly and checked that we were happy. I’d recommend the place and come back.

My grandson is still talking about the flapjacks, so we’ll have to return and ask for the recipe 🤣. We had a lovely few days at Marlin lodge in St Lucia. It felt cosy and homelike, with people who really care about hospitality. Thanks to Ursula, Nelly and all the staff for making the stay memorable.

We’ve stayed here three times now, and already can’t wait for another visit. This weekend felt almost like VIP treatment. The staff were friendly and helpful, everything was fresh and clean, and the lovely weather even got us into the pool.

Nelly clearly loves her work, and it shows. If something wasn’t working, it was fixed within minutes. I had a pleasure staying here, with a well-equipped room where the thoughtful little details meant I had what I needed. Breakfast was awesome, with lots of different choices. I’ll definitely come back when I’m in the area.
